Our customer is an insulating glass manufacturer serving the architectural glass and window industry. The company produces IGUs for residential and commercial applications and requires a stable supply of multiple IGU components.
Customer Requirements
The customer needed several materials for insulating glass production, including aluminum spacer bars, corner keys, butyl sealant, and silicone sealant.
Previously, purchasing different materials from multiple suppliers created additional communication and inventory management work. The customer was looking for a more convenient and coordinated supply solution.
Our Solution
Based on the customer's product specifications and production requirements, we provided a complete IGU material supply solution covering:

The spacer bars were supplied according to the required width, thickness, length, and surface finish. The matching corner keys were provided for the customer's assembly requirements.
For the sealing system, butyl sealant was supplied as the primary sealant, while silicone sealant was selected according to the customer's secondary sealing requirements.
Results
By sourcing multiple IGU materials from one supplier, the customer was able to simplify purchasing communication and improve inventory coordination.
The project also demonstrated the importance of compatibility between different IGU components. A reliable insulating glass unit depends not only on the quality of individual materials, but also on how the spacer, desiccant, sealants, glass, and production process work together.
